OPPO Enco Buds 2 Pro: Insights from the Bluetooth SIG Certification Listing

OPPO introduced the Enco Buds 2 in 2022, and now the smartphone manufacturer is gearing up to launch the OPPO Enco Buds 2 Pro. A recent report suggests that the Enco Buds 2 Pro, identified by the model number E510A, has been identified in the Bluetooth SIG certification, indicating it might be a rebranded version of the OnePlus Nord Buds 2R, which was unveiled in July 2023.

Details from the OPPO Enco Buds 2 Pro Bluetooth SIG certification reveal that the earbuds will support the Bluetooth 5.3 protocol, and the product is named OPPO Enco Buds 2 Pro. Interestingly, the same E510A model number was associated with the OnePlus Nord Buds 2R back in July 2023. It appears from the Bluetooth SIG listing that the OPPO Enco Buds 2 Pro might be a rebranded version of the OnePlus Nord Buds 2R. The company plans to release the Enco Buds 2 Pro, in both global markets.

The anticipated features of the OPPO Enco Buds 2 Pro include drivers measuring 12.44mm, a battery life of up to 38 hours support for Dolby Atmos, and more. On the other hand, the Nord Buds 2R boasts drivers that enhance bass output customizable audio settings with the ‘Sound Master Equaliser,’ Dolby Atmos for an immersive surround sound experience with dual microphones equipped with an AI-powered clear call algorithm for precise vocal detection and improved noise cancellation. It also offers up to eight hours of playback on a charge extending to 38 hours with the charging case.

The earbuds have a battery capacity of 36 mAh while the case possesses a battery capacity of 480mAh. Charging is accomplished using a USB Type C port; however wireless charging is not supported. With an IP55 rating, these earbuds are suitable for workouts. The Bluetooth connectivity is version 5.3 ensuring connections while maintaining latency at only 94ms which enhances the gaming experience. It’s important to note that the company has yet to launch an edition of the Enco Buds line, in India. However, they have recently introduced the OPPO Enco Air 3 Pro earbuds, which can be seen as a follow-up, to the OPPO Enco Air 2 Pro.
