The Upcoming OnePlus Watch

The smartwatch in question is likely to be a follow-up to the mid-range OnePlus Watch 2, which was released back in February. The OnePlus Watch 2 was significant for its full integration with Google’s WearOS 4 operating system. That’s why it is also very likely that the upcoming smartwatch will use an operating system based on the new WearOS. More information is expected to become available in the days ahead. In the meantime, the specifications of the OnePlus Watch 2 have been revealed to us.

OnePlus Watch 2 will feature a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with sapphire glass protection and a maximum brightness of 600 nits. Powered by BES 2700 MCU chips, with the main processing load handled by the Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 SoC, the IQOO Watch comes with a 500mAh battery that provides a life of up to 48 hours or 7 days of use in power-saving mode. In its smart mode, the battery lasts up to around 100 hours, while it takes only 60 minutes to be fully recharged with 7.5W VOOC charging. The smartwatch is powered by Google Wear OS 4 and it offers 2GB RAM and 32GB storage to deliver a lag-free experience.

Until the wrap-off comes off on the upcoming release, fans of OnePlus out there are eagerly looking forward to the reveal as an answer of the OnePlus Watch 2. Coming from a family of powerful hardware with snappy features, OnePlus’s next line-up of wearables is among the most awaited ones. Check back here for more details on the OPWW234 model in the coming days.
