Record-Breaking Battery Capacity
The standout feature is undoubtedly the 9,000mAh battery—the largest ever in a OnePlus smartphone. This massive capacity promises exceptional endurance, easily handling two full days of typical usage or extended gaming sessions without reaching for a charger.
Supporting 80W wired fast charging ensures the large battery replenishes quickly despite its size. The 27W wired reverse charging capability transforms the Turbo 6 into a power bank, allowing users to charge other devices directly from the phone—a practical feature given the substantial battery capacity.
Gaming-Focused Display
The Turbo 6 features a 1.5K resolution display with a smooth 165Hz refresh rate, manufactured by BOE using LTPS OLED technology. The flat screen design appeals to gamers who prefer minimal edge distortion and reduced accidental touches during intense gaming sessions.
The high refresh rate ensures buttery-smooth scrolling, fluid animations, and responsive gaming performance, making it ideal for competitive mobile gaming and demanding graphics-intensive applications.
Performance Without Compromise
Powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset with Adreno 825 GPU, the Turbo 6 delivers flagship-tier performance just below the Elite category. This processor handles demanding games, heavy multitasking, and intensive applications effortlessly while maintaining power efficiency.
LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage ensure lightning-fast app launches, seamless multitasking, and rapid file transfers. The device ships with Android 16 preinstalled, providing the latest software features and security updates from day one.
Exceptional Durability
OnePlus equipped the Turbo 6 with comprehensive protection through IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings. This tri-level certification ensures exceptional dust and water resistance, allowing the device to withstand immersion, high-pressure water jets, and harsh environmental conditions.
The plastic frame construction keeps weight manageable despite the massive battery—reportedly just 217.25g—while maintaining structural integrity for daily durability.
Camera System Details
The rear camera setup consists of a 50MP primary sensor paired with an 8MP secondary lens, likely an ultra-wide shooter. The front houses a 32MP selfie camera for detailed self-portraits and crisp video calls.
Launch and Availability
OnePlus confirmed the Turbo 6 launches in China on January 8, 2026. While global availability remains unconfirmed, rumors suggest the device may debut internationally under the Nord series branding, potentially as the Nord CE6 in India with slight specification variations.
