OnePlus Nord Buds 4 Launch: Pro-Level Noise Cancellation Finally Comes to the Budget Segment

Anyone who’s tried focusing on a packed metro, in a buzzing café, or mid-lecture while a classmate whispers nonstop knows the real value of good noise cancellation isn’t luxury — it’s sanity. OnePlus seems to agree, because its newest Nord Buds 4 are bringing serious ANC muscle to a price segment that’s usually stuck with the basics.

Announced out of Bengaluru on June 16, 2026, the OnePlus Nord Buds 4 are built squarely for students and young professionals juggling commutes, classes, work calls, and weekend gaming sessions. They land in stores on June 25, with pricing to be revealed the same day.

OnePlus Nord Buds 4: Overview

Why 52 dB ANC Actually Matters

Most budget earbuds treat noise cancellation as an afterthought, but OnePlus is pushing 52 dB of real-time active noise cancellation here — a number that genuinely competes with pricier flagships. The science behind this technology, broadly known as active noise control, works by using microphones to detect ambient sound and generating an inverse sound wave to cancel it out in real time. OnePlus pairs this with multiple listening modes, so switching between deep isolation and situational awareness — say, hearing your name called at a coffee shop — doesn’t require digging into a menu mid-commute.

Sound, Comfort, and Battery That Keeps Up

Each earbud houses a 12 mm titanium-coated dynamic driver tuned for punchy bass, while the featherlight 4.3g build is designed to disappear during long wear. OnePlus has also trickled down 3D Spatial Audio and Game Sound Spatial Audio from the pricier Nord Buds 4 Pro, giving FPS gamers a real edge in picking out footsteps and gunfire with more precision.

Battery life is where the Nord Buds 4 really flex: up to 54 hours of total playback, plus a 10-minute top-up that buys 11 hours of listening. With TÜV Rheinland Battery Health Certification backing it, OnePlus is clearly betting on long-term reliability, not just day-one specs.

If you’ve used an older Nord Buds model and are wondering how big a jump this actually is, our OnePlus Nord Buds 3 review on TechnoSports breaks down where the previous generation fell short — especially on ANC depth and audio clarity — which makes the Nord Buds 4’s upgrades easier to appreciate.

The Bottom Line

The OnePlus Nord Buds 4 aren’t just another budget TWS refresh — they’re a clear signal that flagship-grade ANC and spatial audio are trickling down to everyday listeners faster than expected. With pricing still under wraps, the real test arrives on June 25.
