According to tipster Debayan Roy, the Nord 5 is likely to be priced around ₹30,000 in India, which is similar to the ₹29,999 starting price of the Nord 4. Like its predecessor, the OnePlus Nord 5 will likely be available to buy through Amazon as well as the OnePlus website. The OnePlus Nord 4 was, ultimately, a rebadged OnePlus Ace 3V, but it isn’t clear yet if this next phone will be a rebranded Ace 5V.

Here are the rumored specs we have seen. The Nord 5 will come with a MediaTek Dimensity 9400e chipset, according to tipsters Debayan Roy and Abhishek Yadav. This will be a binned variant of the Dimensity 9400 and the launch is scheduled before this September this month. It is expected to be faster than both the Dimensity 9300+ and the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, making it faster than the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 found on the OnePlus Nord 4.

The display is expected to be a flat AMOLED panel with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It’s likely to feature an in-display fingerprint scanner. In terms of battery, the device could come with a 7,000mAh battery and 100W fast charging support.

For photography, the Nord 5 is expected to feature a 50MP primary camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and an 8MP ultrawide-angle sensor. For selfies, a 16MP front camera might be included. The phone could feature a glass back with a plastic frame, along with an IR scanner and a dual speaker setup.
