OnePlus Nord 4 and Pad 2 to launch at Summer Launch Event tomorrow

Ahead of its much-anticipated Summer Launch Event in Milan on 16th July, OnePlus has announced groundbreaking AI features for its new devices, the OnePlus Nord 4 and OnePlus Pad 2. These innovations promise to elevate every aspect of users’ digital lives.

AI Revolution Starts with OnePlus Nord and Pad 2

Introducing the OnePlus Nord 4 and OnePlus Pad 2

As the latest addition to the wildly successful OnePlus Nord series, the OnePlus Nord 4 is the only metal unibody phone in the 5G era, designed to maximize the potential of artificial intelligence. Alongside it, the OnePlus Pad 2, a new flagship tablet, is set to feature AI tools that enhance productivity, creativity, and everyday functionality.

Kinder Liu, OnePlus President and COO, remarked, “You don’t need a whole galaxy to take advantage of all the benefits of AI – you need a OnePlus Nord. The products we’re unveiling tomorrow truly democratize AI and help it change every part of your life. I can’t wait to see what our users make of it.”

AI for Creativity

Earlier this year, OnePlus introduced AI tools such as AI Eraser and Smart Cutout, which remove unwanted elements from images. These will be joined by new features like AI Best Face and AI Clear Face.

• AI Clear Face: Available from launch on the OnePlus Nord 4, this tool brings extra definition to faces, ensuring that nearly perfect photos become truly perfect.
• AI Best Face: Set to launch later this year for the OnePlus Nord 4, this feature can magically open closed eyes in group selfies, ensuring every shot is picture-perfect.

AI for Productivity

The OnePlus Nord 4 and OnePlus Pad 2 come equipped with a suite of AI tools designed to boost productivity:

• AI Speak and AI Summarize: These tools help share information from various websites and apps.
• AI Writer: Composes long messages from short prompts, allowing users to focus on important tasks.
• Recording Summary: Converts hour-long meeting recordings into concise written summaries and provides transcripts in seconds.

AI for Everyday Life

AI integration in the OnePlus Nord 4 and OnePlus Pad 2 goes beyond surface-level features. Both devices run on OxygenOS 14, which incorporates machine learning systems into RAM, storage, and CPU, optimizing day-to-day performance.

• Trinity Engine: This self-developed engine ensures optimal performance by managing the device’s CPU, RAM, and ROM effectively.
• Battery Health Engine: Exclusive to the OnePlus Nord 4, this AI technology extends battery life by analyzing charging patterns. Tested to survive over 1,600 charging cycles, the battery maintains over 80% of its original capacity, more than three times the industry standard.
