College esports in India just got its biggest stage yet. OnePlus Campus Dominate 2026, now in its third edition, has rolled into Delhi NCR for its final leg — capping off a nationwide tour that’s already brought competitive BGMI action to tens of thousands of students across the country.
A Tour Built at Serious Scale
Spanning 16 universities across ten cities, Campus Dominate ’26 has already covered seven cities before arriving in Delhi NCR on August 11. The numbers so far are hard to ignore: Chandigarh alone engaged over 17,000 students on-ground, while Vadodara and Ahmedabad combined crossed 10,000. Twelve Campus Dominate College Champions have already earned direct tickets to the Grand LAN Finale as a result. Delhi NCR Schedule
| Dates | Venue |
|---|---|
| Aug 11 – 12 | Netaji Subhas University of Technology, New Delhi |
| Aug 13 – 14 | The NorthCap University, Gurugram |
| Aug 17 – 18 | Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi |
| Aug 19 – 20 | Bennett University, Greater Noida |
| Aug 21 (Grand LAN Finale) | Bennett University, Greater Noida |
What Happens at Each Stop
The tournament rolls out via a 40-foot OnePlus Gaming Truck, transforming each campus into a two-day gaming destination with hands-on product demos, creator meet-and-greets, the “Creator Lobby” campus creator contest, and exclusive merchandise giveaways. Open only to college students, it’s positioned as a genuine grassroots pipeline for competitive gaming talent rather than a one-off marketing stunt — with organizers expecting to engage over 100,000 students and 50+ creators across the full two-month run.
The Competition Format
At its core is a BGMI Team Deathmatch battle, where students compete through on-campus qualifiers to be crowned their university’s champion. Winners from all 16 campuses advance to the Grand LAN Finale in Delhi NCR, where they’ll compete for a prize pool of ₹10 lakh. Fittingly, both the playoffs and the Grand Finale will be played exclusively on the OnePlus Nord 6, putting its gaming performance directly in the spotlight. Why This Matters for Indian Esports
Collegiate gaming has increasingly become one of the strongest pipelines for discovering competitive talent in India, and initiatives like Campus Dominate give young players structured opportunities to compete and gain visibility before stepping into professional esports. It also reflects how seriously brands are now investing directly in campus-level gaming culture rather than just sponsoring established tournaments.
How to Get Involved
Registrations for the Delhi NCR leg are open now via OnePlus Campus Dominate’s official site, with the Grand LAN Finale set for August 21 at Bennett University. Keep following our gaming news section for coverage of the finale and this year’s eventual champions.
