OnePlus has launched a new device, a gaming phone with a great price tag, that is how the brand aims to market the new OnePlus Ace Racing Edition. True to its name, the device shares many similarities with the OnePlus Ace, it also uses the Dimensity 8100-Max chip and is based on the 5nm process. Let us take a detailed look at the OnePlus Ace Racing Edition specifications.

The latest offering from OnePlus arrives with a 6.59″ LCD display with a refresh rate of 120Hz, it has six different modes, which are as follows; 30/48/50/60/90/120 Hz. The device flaunts a lower touch sampling rate of 240Hz. The display offers 100 percent coverage of the DCI-P3 color gamut. It has a peak brightness of 600 nits and a display that is not a 10-bit panel.
The Ace Racing Edition is powered by the HyperBoost Technology which lets you play all your games at a constant frame rate. The battery is a 5,000mAh one with support for 67W fast charging. It is the closest to one of the OnePlus 10R variants which has a 5,000mAh battery with 80W charging support. The 67W system has the ability to go from 0 to 80% in a matter of 29 minutes.
In terms of optics, the device has a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultrawide angle lens, and a macro shooter. It has a 16MP selfie shooter. Just for comparison’s sake, the regular variant of the OnePlus Ace has a 50MP primary shooter with OIS, and the video recording capabilities of the Racing edition max out at 4K at 30fps while the regular variant can do 4K at 60fps.
The device has a 3.5mm audio jack, and support for Bluetooth audio (aptX HD, LDAC, LHDC), if you use headphones, you get stereo speakers with Dirac Audio support. OnePlus has collaborated with Razer to provide a great experience for gamers.
The device has been opened for pre-orders in China via Oppo’s official site. The base 8GB+128GB model is priced at CNY 1,900 or 21,853 INR, the 8GB+256GB model has been priced at CNY 2,200 or 25,304 INR, and the 12GB+256GB model is priced at CNY 2,400 or 27604 INR. It arrives in Gray and Blue colors.
The OnePlus Ace Racing Edition is not likely to release globally, we are not sure as of yet. The gaming fans in China will soon be able to see the OnePlus Ace Racing Edition at the Peacekeeper Elite League’s Spring tournament as the device of choice.
