OnePlus 9RT, OnePlus Buds Z3 India support pages surface, launch appears imminent

OnePlus 9RT and OnePlus Buds Z2 India launch appears to be imminent as the support pages for these products have been spotted on the company’s Indian website.

While the former was listed under the ‘Phone’ section, the latter was observed under ‘Accessories’, tipster Mukul Sharma revealed. The OnePlus Buds Z2 product page on the Indian website is also live but it reads ‘page is coming soon and a Google search mentions the product with the tagline “Play with silence”.

The OnePlus 9RT succeeds the OnePlus 9R and was originally launched in China all the way back in October. The phone will be exclusive to the Chinese and Indian markets.

The OnePlus 9RT and OnePlus Buds Z2 were expected to launch in India in November but for some reason unknown to us, the launch had to be pushed.

The company is yet to reveal the official OnePlus 9RT launch date in the country but we expect the brand to start teasing the phone in the next few days. While the phone has been spotted with the “OnePlus 9RT” moniker, as there have been reports that it will be called the OnePlus RT in India.

Recent rumors have claimed that the OnePlus 9RT will launch in the country on the 16th of December and will come in Nano Silver and Hacker Black color options. The OnePlus Buds Z2 will be made available in Black and Pearl White colors.

So what are the specs of the OnePlus 9RT?

The OnePlus 9RT features a 6.62″ E4 OLED display with up to a high refresh rate of 120Hz, a peak brightness of 1300 nits, HDR10+ support, and a 600Hz touch response rate.

The handset is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chip paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. The phone runs on ColorOS 12 based on Android 12 in China but may arrive with OxygenOS custom skin in India but with a ColorOS code base.

Connectivity options include 5G support, Wi-Fi 6, and a USB Type-C port, NFC support, GPS, and Bluetooth support as well.

The OnePlus 9RT has an in-display fingerprint scanner for biometrics and a 4,500mAh battery with support for Warp Charge 65W fast charging.

Coming to the camera specs of the device, there is a triple camera setup on the rear with a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor with OIS and EIS support, a 16MP wide-angle lens, and a macro shooter. The device flaunts a 16MP selfie shooter.
