OnePlus has officially confirmed the OnePlus 15T is coming — and the pitch is unusually specific. OnePlus China President Li Jie Louis described it as the “dream phone” for small-screen enthusiasts, promising “industry-leading performance and battery life” in a compact body. The confirmation came via Weibo, with a mid-March 2026 China launch expected based on certification sightings and Digital Chat Station’s leak. India is likely to receive it as the OnePlus 15s, consistent with how the OnePlus 13T became the 13s for India.

Why the 7,500mAh Battery Is the Headline
The compact smartphone compromise has always been battery life. A 6.32-inch body physically limits how much cell capacity can fit inside — which is why most small flagships either run warm (higher power draw) or run out of charge by 7PM. OnePlus is betting that silicon-carbon battery technology closes this gap: OnePlus is said to equip the phone with its largest battery ever for a device of this size, with 7,500mAh at 6.32 inches representing a density that wasn’t achievable two years ago.
The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5‘s improved efficiency (roughly 15–20% better per-core power draw than the 8 Elite) compounds the battery advantage. A more efficient chip plus a larger cell could realistically deliver two-day battery life at normal usage — which no previous OnePlus T model has achieved.
The wireless charging addition is meaningful too. The OnePlus 13T launched without wireless charging; adding it to the 15T brings the compact flagship fully in line with the standard OnePlus 15.
India buyers note: The OnePlus 15s BIS certification has been spotted, confirming India market intent. However, some leaks suggest the India launch has been uncertain — watch for official OnePlus India confirmation before planning a purchase.
