OnePlus 12 Design Unveiled in Official Renders; New Launch Date Set for December 5

The release date for the OnePlus 12 has been rescheduled and is now slated to be officially launched in China on December 5, moving away from the initially announced plan to unveil it during the company’s 10th-anniversary celebrations. Ahead of its official debut, OnePlus has revealed high-quality images showcasing the design of its upcoming flagship smartphone. These official renders align with the leaked schematics and images circulating in recent weeks. The OnePlus 12 boasts a hole-punch display design and features a triple camera setup at the back, prominently bearing the Hasselblad branding.

The Upcoming OnePlus 12

Shortly after teasing color options such as Pale Green, Rock Black, and White for the OnePlus 12, OnePlus has now disclosed the official appearance of the device via Weibo. The renders exhibit a punch-hole cutout on the display to accommodate the front-facing camera, along with curved edges and slim bezels surrounding the screen. On the rear side, the handset displays a circular camera module adorned with the Hasselblad logo at its center.

The showcased design appears reminiscent of its predecessor, the OnePlus 11, which was launched in China in January. Notably, the previously leaked renders from sources like Steve H. McFly (@OnLeaks) and others seem to have been largely accurate.

The OnePlus 12 is scheduled to launch in the Chinese market on December 5 at 2:30 pm local time (12:00 pm IST), following the company’s 10th-anniversary celebrations on the preceding day. Pre-reservations for the phone are currently being accepted through OnePlus’ official online store and JD.com. A global launch is anticipated in January.
