K-pop fans, get ready for a fresh name. JYP Entertainment has started teasing a brand-new male group called oftheblue, and the first clues are already sparking debate online. Here’s everything we know so far.

What We Know About JYP ‘s oftheblue?

The first hints came through a newly launched website and a matching post on the group’s official X account. The page features two teaser images, a short tagline, and an instrumental preview of a song.

Detail	What’s Confirmed
Group Name	oftheblue
Agency	JYP Entertainment
Type	New male group
Tagline	“Music Begins Everywhere”
Teasers	Two images and an instrumental song preview
Member Count	Possibly four, based on a teaser image
Debut Date	Not yet announced

A Teaser Built Around Music

Instead of revealing faces or a debut date, the team led with sound. The website includes a short instrumental preview, which suggests the group wants its music to make the first impression. The tagline “Music Begins Everywhere” backs this up, hinting at a concept centred on everyday sounds and the idea that music can start anywhere.

Is It a Four-Member Group?

One teaser image appears to hint that oftheblue could have four members. That is only speculation for now, since the agency hasn’t confirmed the lineup, member names or positions. Small groups are a popular choice in K-pop, and a compact lineup often makes it easier to show each member’s personality.

Why Fans Are Watching Closely?

JYP has a strong reputation for launching groups with a clear identity and live skills. Because the agency hasn’t shared a debut timeline, every new teaser will matter. Expect member reveals, concept images and a first release to follow, but nothing is official yet.
