OnePlus 10 Pro was confirmed to launch in January 2022, and the phone is already up for reservations. Do not confuse reservations with pre-booking, the reservation feature only notifies you when the product officially arrives.
A listing on JD.com claims that pre-order is set to begin from the 4th of January, and this could also double-up as the launch date for the flagship in China.
Smartphone companies usually put their phones up for pre-order when the device launches, OnePlus, however, is an exception as its popularity overseas is as high as it is in China.
We will not be surprised to come across a simple teaser on the 4th of January with some of the key features of the phone, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip, and another Hasselblad partnership.
Looking at OnePlus’ past decisions, the brand launched its H1 flagship devices between March and May. This could happen with the OnePlus 10 Series as well, the OnePlus 10 and 10 Pro could launch in China in January, but the global launch will be scheduled for Spring 2022.
There is still a week until January, so let us keep our eyes open for more teasers that will shed more light on the specs of the devices.
