One Piece Live Action Season 2 Wraps Filming: New Set Photo Teases Loguetown

One Piece Live Action Season 2 Wraps Filming: Seven years ago, I came across a fan theory about whether certain anime arcs could ever be brought to life (pun intended). Now, here we are—watching the One Piece Live Action series prove the naysayers wrong with a stellar first season. And guess what? Season 2 just wrapped filming, with Netflix revealing a breathtaking look at Loguetown, the iconic city where Pirate King Gol D. Roger met his fate.

One Piece Live Action Season 2 Wraps Filming: What You Need to Know

A New Beginning in Loguetown

If Season 1 made waves, Season 2 looks set to create a tsunami. The newly released photo features some of our favorite Straw Hats—Luffy (Iñaki Godoy), Zoro (Mackenyu), Nami (Emily Rudd), Usopp (Jacob Romero), and Sanji (Taz Skylar)—entering Loguetown. That’s where they’ll gather much-needed supplies (and trouble) before heading to the Grand Line. Expect dramatic showdowns, comedic hijinks, and powerful new foes.

Filming Wrapped, What’s Next?

Netflix officially confirmed filming has ended, ushering the show into post-production. From editing to visual effects to confirming all the epic fight sequences, there’s a lot for fans to look forward to. While an exact Season 2 release date remains under wraps, hints suggest a 2025 premier—though we’re all hoping it comes sooner.

Enter Smoker and Tashigi

One of the biggest reasons for the hype? Marine Captain Smoker and his fierce partner Tashigi. If rumors and set leaks prove true, these two characters—and their chase of the Straw Hats—will play a massive role this season. Also keep an eye out for new swords for Zoro, plus more comedic showdowns courtesy of Buggy the Clown.

Why Fans Can’t Wait

If you’re among the many who fell in love with how faithfully Season 1 honored Eiichiro Oda’s masterpiece, Season 2 aims to raise the bar even higher. From the bustling streets of Loguetown to the promise of discovering the Grand Line, the storyline is about to get even richer. Combine that with Dolby Atmos-level sound design, jaw-dropping CGI, and a cast that’s embraced these roles wholeheartedly, and you have a recipe for success.

Final Thoughts

For longtime fans, this second season is a dream come true. For newcomers? It’s the perfect chance to dive headfirst into one of the best-selling manga universes of all time. Will Luffy and his crew overcome the obstacles lying in wait beyond Loguetown? Only time—and Netflix—will tell.
