OFFICIAL: England 26-man squad for Euro 2020 announced

Gareth Southgate has announced the final 26-man England squad for the upcoming Euro 2020. The manager first came up with a 33-man shortlist and has submitted the final list of players today.

Among the most notable inclusions are Trent Alexander-Arnold, who was on the verge of being left out. Adding to that list are Jordan Henderson and Harry Maguire who were both injured at the end of the club season, but have been passed off as fit enough to be included in the Euro squad.

Nick Pope misses out due to injury while Mason Greenwood had to be withdrawn by Manchester United due to an injury as well. The most notable exclusions include James Ward-Prowse, Jesse Lingard and Ben White.

Ward-Prowse had a great individual season with Southampton, while the same can be said for Jesse Lingard with West Ham in the second half of the season. Ben White is omitted while all of the right-backs in the list get in.
