NVIDIA today announced that its GeForce NOW™ cloud gaming service will become publicly available in India on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at 7:30 a.m. IST. The service, which allows users to stream high-performance PC games to a variety of devices, is transitioning from its early access beta phase, eliminating the waitlist for new subscribers.

The launch aims to broaden access to advanced PC gaming for India’s growing online population, where hardware accessibility can be a barrier to high-fidelity experiences. GeForce NOW facilitates streaming from NVIDIA’s cloud-based GeForce RTX servers, enabling users to play RTX-powered titles on existing laptops, Macs, mobile phones, smart TVs, and handheld consoles.

NVIDIA GeForce: Membership Tiers and Pricing

Following a three-month beta period, NVIDIA is introducing two primary membership tiers:

Performance Tier: Priced at ₹999 per month. Day passes are available for ₹399.
Ultimate Tier: Priced at ₹1,999 per month. Day passes are available for ₹799.

Early access beta participants will receive a one-time 20% discount on their first three months of a recurring membership, redeemable within one week of their current pass expiration. The service also now supports UPI payments for memberships and day passes, enhancing accessibility for Indian users.

Advanced Cloud Infrastructure

GeForce NOW in India is powered by NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 SuperPODs, built on the NVIDIA Blackwell RTX architecture. These servers are engineered to deliver up to 62 teraflops of compute performance with a 48GB frame buffer.

The Ultimate tier offers support for NVIDIA DLSS 4 technology with Multi-Frame Generation, enabling streaming resolutions up to 5K at 120 frames per second. For competitive gaming, NVIDIA Reflex technology is integrated, targeting click-to-pixel response times below 30 milliseconds and supporting up to 1080p at 360 fps. These specifications position the cloud service to surpass previous-generation cloud server performance significantly.

Furthermore, the Blackwell architecture supports GeForce NOW’s Cinematic-Quality Streaming mode, which combines AV1 encoding, AI video enhancement, 4:4:4 chroma, and 10-bit HDR support to optimize visual fidelity across various screen types and network conditions.

Game Library and Storage Capabilities

The platform integrates with users’ existing game libraries across various digital storefronts, including Steam, Epic Games Store, Xbox, Battle.net, Gaijin, and GOG. This allows members to access thousands of titles without needing to repurchase them. Supported gaming subscriptions, such as Xbox Game Pass and Ubisoft Connect, can also be linked. New titles are added weekly, encompassing free-to-play options and major new releases.

GeForce NOW employs NVIDIA NVMesh cloud storage technology to support “Install-to-Play” titles. Ultimate and Performance members receive 100GB of single-session cloud storage at no additional cost. Users can also expand their persistent cloud storage with optional add-ons:
