Nothing Phone 4b Is Coming to India on July 7 — And It Already Looks Like a Budget Game-Changer

Nothing has been teasing, hinting, and building hype for weeks. Now the wraps are finally coming off — well, partially. The London-based brand has officially revealed the design of the Nothing Phone 4b, and it’s shaping up to be one of the most exciting budget smartphones of 2026. Mark your calendars: July 7 is the date.

Nothing Phone 4b — Key Details

The Design: Glyph Bar, Dual Cameras, Transparent DNA

True to Nothing’s signature identity, the Phone 4b retains the brand’s iconic semi-transparent back design — but with a fresh modern twist. The latest teaser shows the Phone 4b sporting a dual rear camera setup housed within a vertical camera island, along with design elements similar to those seen on previous Nothing smartphones. A horizontal lighting strip on the camera island is also visible, reminiscent of the Glyph element seen on the Nothing Phone 4a. The Free Press Journal

On the colour front, only a blue variant has been shown so far, though the company is expected to introduce additional colour options at launch. Given Nothing’s history with clean, bold colour choices, expect something tasteful and distinct. The Free Press Journal

What’s Under the Hood? (Leaked Specs)

According to a Geekbench listing under model number A009P, the device is expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM, an Adreno 810 GPU, and Android 16. The benchmark listing showed single-core and multi-core scores of 1,088 and 3,155 respectively. The Free Press Journal

Display and battery specs remain inconsistent across leaks — some reports cite a 6.3-inch screen and others suggest a larger 6.78-inch panel, though a 120Hz AMOLED display is consistently mentioned. Battery capacity estimates range between 5,000mAh and 6,000mAh. The Free Press Journal

Where Does It Fit in Nothing’s Lineup?

The Phone 4b is being positioned as the most accessible entry point into Nothing’s ecosystem — sitting below the Phone 4a, which currently starts at ₹37,999 in India.

Tipster Yogesh Brar has suggested the phone will be offered in two RAM and storage configurations, priced roughly ₹3,000 to ₹5,000 lower than the Nothing Phone 4a, placing the Phone 4b in the ₹30,000–₹33,000 range.

The Phone 4b’s arrival also comes shortly after Nothing’s sub-brand CMF confirmed it would not launch a smartphone this year, with the Phone 4b effectively stepping in to fill that gap.

This is Nothing making a deliberate push to democratise its aesthetic-forward experience at a friendlier price point — and that’s a very smart move for the Indian market.
