The Nothing Phone 3 is officially on its way, with the company confirming a July 2025 launch in India. While the exact date remains undisclosed, the announcement comes just weeks after CEO Carl Pei teased the device on social media, even hinting at its price range. As usual, Nothing will probably drip-feed us the key specs and features in the run-up to the launch to keep us interested.

However, while the full specs are still under wraps, according to Carl Pei, the Phone 3 will come with upgrades in material, performance, and software experience. The phone is being billed as Nothing’s first proper flagship, and that is indeed a big step up from its founding offerings. Under the hood, the Phone 3 is said to be packing a powerhouse Snapdragon chip, likely either the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 or the 8s Gen 4, which would be a significant upgrade from the chip in the Phone 2, the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1.

Leaks also point to a triple rear camera setup, including a large primary sensor and, for the first time in a Nothing phone, a periscope-style telephoto lens. The device is also expected to pack a 5,000mAh battery, which has become standard among flagship smartphones. Carl Pei hinted at a global price of around €800, which converts to roughly ₹90,500. However, considering Nothing’s competitive pricing strategy in India, the actual launch price here is expected to be significantly lower.

The Nothing Phone (2) launched in India at ₹44,999, and while the Phone 3 is a more premium device, a near-doubling of the price seems unlikely. Most reports suggest a likely price range of ₹55,000 to ₹65,000 for the Indian market. At this expected price point, the Phone 3 will face stiff competition from devices like the Google Pixel 9a (₹49,999), iPhone 16e (₹59,900), and OnePlus 13 (₹69,999). However, with its unique design, powerful internals, and emphasis on software-driven user experience, the Nothing Phone 3 could still carve out its own space in the flagship market.
