Nothing OS 2.0, the most latest version, was also revealed together with the Nothing Phone (2). The new custom skin adds a great deal of adjustments, features, and improvements to its devices. Nothing OS 2.0 places a high premium on flexibility and features that boost user productivity.

Aesthetics that are functionally pleasing are also updated in the UI. This page discusses Nothing’s most recent custom skin update, including the release date, partnerships with other companies, new features, and other specifics.

Nothing OS 2.0 update and added features

The ability to design unique widgets is one of Nothing OS 2.0’s most noticeable improvements. Users will have a wide variety of interesting widgets to choose from and add to their home screens so they can do chores and rapidly scan important information without launching any apps.

One of them is a step counter widget for keeping track of your daily movement. The updated skin also adds significant shortcuts to the home screen for toggles including WiFi, Do Not Disturb, Glyph, torch, and GPS.

With design cues from iOS 16, Nothing OS 2.0’s lock screen widgets and shortcuts are presented in a linear manner. These widgets are changeable based on the user’s preferences and are still shown on Always On Display.

The application of themes to app icons that don’t support Google’s Monet theming shows how well the icon theming has been implemented.

OS 2.0 does little to improve OS 1.0’s fluidity and smoothness. This is corroborated by the fact that Nothing hired a lot of individuals who had previously worked with OnePlus to work on the software and who were highly skilled at making the software as fluid as possible.
