NODWIN Gaming to Launch Jalandhar Comic Con in November 2026

NODWIN Gaming has announced the debut of Jalandhar Comic Con, scheduled to take place on November 21-22, 2026. The event will be hosted at Lovely Professional University (LPU) and marks an expansion of Comic Con India’s presence into Punjab.

The inaugural Jalandhar Comic Con, presented by Maruti Suzuki, aims to serve the region’s significant youth demographic. Organizers cited Jalandhar’s robust educational infrastructure and student community as key factors for selecting the city as its next venue.

NODWIN Event Details and Offerings

Attendees can anticipate a range of activities consistent with previous Comic Con events. These include zones dedicated to comics and anime, interactive gaming experiences, cosplay competitions, and opportunities for engagement with creators. The schedule also features live music performances, stand-up comedy acts, exclusive merchandise stalls, and brand activations.

Shefali Johnson, CEO of Comic Con India, highlighted the cultural resonance of the event with Punjab’s traditions. Johnson noted Punjab’s historical tradition of storytelling and vibrant self-expression, asserting that this aligns with the spirit of Comic Con.

Akshat Rathee, Co-founder and Managing Director of NODWIN Gaming (https://nodwingaming.com/), emphasized the community aspect of the convention. He drew parallels between Jalandhar’s established cultural events, such as the Harballabh Sangeet Sammelan, and Comic Con’s objective of bringing people together around shared interests and fandoms. Rathee stated that the event is designed to provide a platform for self-expression among the city’s young population.

Strategic Expansion

The introduction of Jalandhar Comic Con represents another step in Comic Con India’s strategy to extend its reach beyond major metropolitan areas. For NODWIN Gaming, this initiative provides an opportunity to engage with a younger audience deeply invested in gaming, music, anime, and broader pop culture trends. The choice of Lovely Professional University, a prominent campus with a diverse student body, aims to connect the event directly with this demographic.

The event is designed to offer a weekend focused on entertainment and fostering a sense of community among pop culture enthusiasts. For more information on recent industry developments in gaming and entertainment, readers can visit TechnoSports (https://technosports.co.in/).
