Top Netflix Picks This Month

A Quick Look At Each Release

Enola Holmes 3 takes a noticeably darker turn, with Millie Bobby Brown returning as Enola, pulled into a treacherous new case in Malta after her brother Sherlock is unexpectedly kidnapped — all while her wedding to Lord Tewkesbury looms.

Little House on the Prairie brings Rebecca Sonnenshine’s fresh adaptation of Laura Ingalls Wilder’s beloved book series to life, tracing the triumphs and hardships of pioneer families shaping the American frontier.

Wicked: For Good closes out the musical fantasy saga, with Cynthia Erivo’s Elphaba, now branded the Wicked Witch of the West, forced to reunite with Ariana Grande’s Glinda to confront their tangled past.

Heartstopper Forever gives Nick and Charlie’s story its emotional send-off, following Kit Connor and Joe Locke as the couple navigates the challenges of a long-distance relationship while heading into a new chapter of adulthood.

The Hawk stars Will Ferrell as an aging golf legend refusing to retire, chasing one last major championship in a comeback story that doubles as a father-son rivalry.

MLB Home Run Derby streams live, giving sports fans a real-time event to look forward to mid-month, alongside other newly added MLB Vault content.

Gone Girl and Hamnet round things out on the prestige-drama side — the former a David Fincher psychological thriller, the latter Chloé Zhao’s emotional take on Shakespeare’s private life and loss.

Why This Month Stands Out

July leans heavily into franchise continuations and adaptations of well-loved source material, similar to how Little House on the Prairie, originally a series of American children’s novels published in the 1930s, has been reimagined for new audiences decades after its debut. It’s a month built for both nostalgia and fresh discovery.

What To Watch First

If you want emotional closure, start with Heartstopper Forever. For pure spectacle, Wicked: For Good and Enola Holmes 3 deliver big. And if you’re after something steady to binge all month, Little House on the Prairie is the safest long-haul pick.
