Netflix and Ubisoft joined hands to gift us 'Splinter Cell' anime series_TechnoSports.co.in

Hope you all are aware of what Netflix and Ubisoft are. If not, Netflix is one of the most popular video content platforms. Whereas Ubisoft is a French video game company and it’s the fifth largest publicly traded gaming company in America and Europe. This stat is based on revenue and market capitalization.

The mentioned gaming company released a game named Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell back in 2002 and the last one released in 2013 – Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Blacklist. Now, some reports are saying an anime will come from Netflix’s end based on this video game’s story. As the game is action-based, generally the anime is also going to be of the same category.

Among the executive producers behind this web series, one will be Derek Kolstad. If you don’t know he is the writer of all the three ‘John Wick’ films and worked on many other projects too.

The entire story will be split into 16 episodes which will again be divided into two seasons.

Here is some more info about the game. The game story is based on a group of agents of Black ops working within the NSA. This group is named ‘Third Echelon’. The gamer controls Sam Fisher who is one of those agents in Third Echelon. The gamer’s task is to overcome his adversaries.
