What Is Nazdeekiyan About?

The series centres on two couples whose lives become unexpectedly intertwined after a workplace connection alters the course of their relationships. When Seher and Abhay begin working together, their respective spouses Ved and Meera unknowingly develop a bond of their own — and the emotional consequences that follow force all four characters to navigate the dangerous tension between loyalty and desire.

This is the kind of premise that is both instantly relatable and genuinely terrifying — because every relationship has its fault lines. Nazdeekiyan simply holds a light up to those cracks and asks: what would you do? The four-person emotional geometry — two couples, four individual journeys, one shared crisis — promises the kind of slow-burn drama that keeps you awake thinking about it long after the episode ends.

A Cast That Understands Emotional Nuance

Paresh Pahuja — known for his work in The Broken News and 1962: The War in the Hills — brings the kind of quiet, controlled intensity this role demands. Paired with Aakanksha Singh and the increasingly sought-after Taaha Shah Badusha (Heeramandi, Khichdi 2) and Nikita Dutta (Rocket Boys, Shiddat) — the ensemble is built entirely for complex emotional storytelling where nobody is fully right and nobody is fully wrong.

Both Nazdeekiyan and the companion series Dono Mile Iss Tarah reflect Dharmatic’s continued emphasis on creating content for new-age streaming audiences — focusing on modern relationships, shifting expectations around love, commitment, and the cost of personal ambition.
