Nazara Technologies Limited today announced a preferential issue of equity shares totaling approximately ₹733.5 crore. The capital raise, subject to shareholder and regulatory approvals, will see shares issued at ₹306 each, determined with reference to the relevant date of July 31, 2026, in compliance with SEBI regulations.

The investment will be made by the founders and senior leadership team of Bluetile Games and BestPlay Systems. The influx of capital is intended to bolster Nazara’s balance sheet and finance strategic acquisitions and growth initiatives across its gaming portfolio.

Nazara Technologies: Key Investment by Incoming CEO

Raymond Albaladejo Stauffer, who is set to assume the role of Chief Executive Officer of Nazara Technologies effective September 1, 2026, pending regulatory approvals, will be the largest individual investor. Stauffer is committing approximately ₹583.5 crore to the preferential issue, positioning him as a significant shareholder in the company.

Stauffer’s substantial personal investment aligns his financial interests directly with those of Nazara’s shareholders. This approach reportedly foregoes additional stock-based incentives typically associated with a CEO appointment.
