MSI Unveils EdgeMesa N AI+ Mini PC With NVIDIA RTX Spark N1X and Up to 128GB Unified Memory

MSI has officially entered the RTX Spark mini-PC category with the EdgeMesa N AI+, a compact Windows 11 desktop built on NVIDIA’s new RTX Spark N1X platform. The system pairs a 20-core NVIDIA Grace CPU with a Blackwell-based RTX GPU packing 6,144 CUDA cores, positioning it as a compact yet capable machine for AI workloads and creative tasks alike.

The standout feature is memory: the EdgeMesa N AI+ supports up to 128GB of LPDDR5X unified memory shared between the CPU and GPU, a configuration aimed squarely at local AI inference and large-model workloads rather than traditional desktop gaming. MSI has not detailed whether a lower-memory variant will be offered, suggesting the flagship configuration could be the only option at launch — and likely an expensive one.

RTX Spark N1X: What’s Under the Hood

NVIDIA lists this particular RTX Spark N1X configuration with a 140W TDP, using the larger 20-core Grace CPU and 6,144-core Blackwell GPU combination. This sits above the smaller RTX Spark N1X option, which pairs an 18-core CPU with a 5,120-core GPU, giving MSI’s EdgeMesa the more powerful configuration within the RTX Spark family.

Unlike NVIDIA’s DGX Spark line, which is aimed at data-center-style AI development, RTX Spark systems like the EdgeMesa are being positioned as full Windows 11 platforms with standard NVIDIA graphics features. NVIDIA lists support for DLSS 5, Reflex 2, RTX Remix, G-SYNC, and both Game Ready and Studio drivers, meaning the EdgeMesa should function as a regular Windows PC rather than a specialized appliance.

Specifications and Connectivity

Beyond the core compute hardware, the EdgeMesa N AI+ is well equipped for a compact desktop: four USB4 20Gbps Type-C ports (three supporting DisplayPort 1.4 Alt Mode), an HDMI 2.1b output, and 10 Gigabit Ethernet round out the connectivity, while Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 cover wireless needs. A fan-and-vapor-chamber cooling setup is tasked with keeping the compact chassis running cool under sustained AI workloads.

Pricing and Availability

MSI has not yet announced pricing or a release date for the EdgeMesa N AI+. The product page is already live on MSI’s site, which suggests a launch is approaching, and the EdgeMesa is expected to be one of several RTX Spark N1X-based desktops that PC manufacturers roll out in the coming months as NVIDIA pushes the platform toward mainstream availability.
