What Is Mr Housekeeping About?
The story centres on Honest Raj and his college sweetheart Isai. On their last day together, Honest boldly challenges that he will win Isai’s heart and make something of his life. Fast forward — he’s jobless and ends up landing a housekeeper job at a villa, only to discover it belongs to Isai herself.
She puts him to the test before hiring him, he fails (hilariously), but slowly falls back in love with her all over again. When she friendzones him, his journey to win her heart a second time begins — full of chaos, laughs, and an inevitable reunion. It’s a light, fun watch perfect for a relaxed evening on Tentkotta.
Cast & Crew at a Glance
The film features Losliya Mariyanesan — the Bigg Boss Tamil fame actress who has steadily built her film career — alongside veteran Tamil actor Hari Bhaskar as the endearing Honest Raj. The supporting ensemble includes Rayan, Ilavarasu, Shah Ra, M.J Shriram, Bava Lakshmanan, Ashvin Raja, Jawahar Sakthi, and Nithin Manohar. The music by Osho Venkat gives the film a fun, peppy soundtrack that complements its rom-com vibe.
While the theatrical run received a mixed response due to its predictable screenplay, the OTT release gives it fresh life — after all, a light, no-frills love story is often best enjoyed at home. For more Tamil film and OTT recommendations, visit TechnoSports.co.in.
