Motorola Edge 70 Fusion Teased in India: 7000mAh, Feb 26

Motorola‘s first Edge series phone of 2026 is almost here. The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion has been officially teased on Flipkart with a dedicated microsite, three confirmed colour options, and a reveal date of February 23 — with the Flipkart page URL hinting at a February 26 launch.

Motorola Edge 70 Fusion: Expected Specs & India Launch Details

Flipkart’s teaser tagline — “a lens that captures what others miss” and “a fusion that gives you the edge” — confirms the name and puts photography and battery front and centre. The rest comes from leaks, so treat unconfirmed specs accordingly.

What Makes This One Worth Watching

The 7,000mAh silicon-carbon battery is the standout spec — significantly larger than the 5,000–6,500mAh batteries common in this price range. Silicon-carbon chemistry also charges faster and degrades more slowly than standard lithium-ion, which matters for long-term ownership.

The Sony LYTIA camera confirmation is another strong signal. Motorola has been quietly building a reputation for solid camera performance in the mid-range segment, and pairing a 50MP LYTIA sensor with the “captures what others miss” tagline suggests low-light photography is a key differentiator.

IP68 + IP69 + MIL-STD-810H in the mid-range is also noteworthy — IP69 (high-pressure water resistance) is rare at this price point and goes beyond what most competitors offer.

The Flipkart microsite confirms three Pantone colour options for India — Blue Surf, Country Air, and Silhouette — all featuring Motorola’s leather-inspired textured back.
