Moto G47 Power Spotted on UAE TDRA: 5 Things We Know Before Launch

Motorola’s next budget battery phone appears to be getting ready. The Moto G47 Power has been spotted on the certification database of the UAE’s Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA), according to a report from 91mobiles. Certification listings usually appear a few weeks before a phone goes on sale, so a launch looks to be close.

But a regulatory listing is a small clue, not a spec sheet. Below we separate what the listing actually shows from what is only expectation.

What the TDRA Listing Shows

The device appears under the model number XT2625-15, filed by Lenovo Electronics Technology Co., Ltd. Lenovo owns Motorola, and you can read the background on the Motorola Mobility Wikipedia page or browse current phones on motorola.in. The listing confirms the phone exists and is being prepared for the Middle East market at minimum. It does not reveal the chipset, battery, display or price.

Moto G47 Power: Quick Facts

How the Standard Moto G47 Sets the Baseline

The regular Moto G47 arrived in Europe in April at EUR 319, roughly Rs 35,000, in an 8GB RAM and 128GB storage version, with a 5,200mAh battery. The Power model normally trades some polish for a much larger cell, so it is reasonable to expect a bigger battery than that. How much bigger is the question.

Motorola’s G Power line has long been about endurance for people who do not want to hunt for a charger by evening. If you like following the brand, our Moto G47 Power page will carry updates as they land.

What Is Not Confirmed

The original report speculates and so should be read with care. These points are not confirmed:

• The processor. A MediaTek Dimensity 6300 is expected by some, but the TDRA listing discloses no specs.
• The battery size. Going by naming patterns, the Power version could reach 7,000mAh or more, but this is guesswork.
• India availability and positioning, with talk of a slot between the Moto G37 Power and G67 Power.
• Price. An estimate of Rs 20,000 to 25,000 has been floated for India, which is not an official figure.

Note also that the detailed specifications in the source article describe the standard Moto G47, not the Power version, so they should not be assumed to carry over.

Why Certification Listings Matter

Regulators such as the TDRA require radio and safety checks before a device can be sold. Brands rarely list a phone far in advance, which is why these sightings are a reliable timing hint. They are less useful for specs, because the public record usually shows only the model number, brand and sometimes connectivity details.

The Bottom Line

The Moto G47 Power is real and on its way, but almost everything about it is still unknown. Wait for Motorola’s own announcement before planning a purchase, and treat price and chipset talk as rumour until then.
