Moto G 5G (2024) – 5K Renders and 360-Degree Video Showcase 6.5-inch Display and Dual Rear Cameras

The Moto G 5G (2024) might be, around the corner as the successor to the Moto G 5G (2023) which was introduced in May of this year. While there is no confirmation from the company about this model rumors are circulating. The exact release timeline for the Moto G 5G (2024) is still unknown.

Recently, design renders of the phone have surfaced online. A report has also shared these renders and a 360-degree video showcasing what we can expect from the design of the Moto G 5G (2024) along with highlighting the specifications of the upcoming device.

The Rumors About the Moto G 5G (2024)

As per a report by MySmartPrice citing tipster Steve H. McFly (@OnLeaks) images and a 360-degree video have been revealed online claiming to showcase how the rumored Moto G 5G (2024) will look like. The phone seems to have a design similar to its predecessor featuring sides and subtly curved edges. The device also appears to sport a display, with bezels and a relatively thicker bottom bezel.

Rumors suggest that the Moto G 5G (2024) will have a screen size of around 6.5 inches matching that of its predecessor the Moto G 5G (2023). The upcoming phone is anticipated to come with display features like the model. The 2023 edition will showcase a 6.5-inch definition screen with a resolution of 720 x 1,600 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz. It will also have an aspect ratio of 20:9 and a pixel density of 269ppi.

Leaked images also provide us with a glimpse, into the design of the Moto G 5G (2024) panel. It features a camera module that reminds us of the camera island seen on the Moto G 5G (2023). The expected handset, set to launch year has rounded corners compared to its predecessor. The images and video clearly show the camera module positioned in the corner of the back panel housing two distinct vertically placed circular camera units and an oblong LED flash unit. The phone is observed to have its camera sensor located within a positioned hole punch cutout at the top of the display.

Furthermore according to reports dimensions of the Moto G 5G (2024) are expected to be slightly different, from its model. The new version is estimated to measure approximately 164.4 mm x 74.9 mm x 8.2 mm in size compared to its predecessor’s measurements which were 163.94 mm x 74.98 mm x 8.39 mm.

The images that were leaked also reveal the volume control button and power button situated on the side of the phone whereas the left side has the SIM card slot. At the top of the phone, there is a microphone and at the edge, you can find a 3.5mm headphone jack, another microphone, a USB Type C port, and a speaker opening.
