Her breakthrough came in 2003 when she landed the iconic role of Jassi in Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin, which became a cultural phenomenon. The character resonated so deeply with audiences that people recognized her as Jassi rather than Mona—the ultimate mark of an actor’s success.
Singh’s multifaceted talent shone when she won Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Season 1, proving she could dance as well as act. This victory opened more doors in television and paved her way to Bollywood.
Her film debut in Rajkumar Hirani’s National Award-winning 3 Idiots showcased her ability to hold her own alongside established stars. She recently appeared in Border 2 as Lt Col Fateh Singh Kale’s wife, played by Sunny Deol.

This decision reflects modern women’s desire to control their reproductive timeline without compromising professional ambitions—a conversation starter that empowers countless women facing similar choices.
From TV to OTT: A Seamless Transition
Singh successfully navigated the shift from traditional television to OTT platforms, starring in critically acclaimed shows like Made in Heaven and Aryan Khan’s The Ba**ds of Bollywood. Her diverse portfolio demonstrates her range—from comedy to intense drama.
