Mohun Bagan has now officially signed Jason Cummings from Central Coast Mariners. He will further strengthen their attacking lineup. Jason Steven Cummings, born on 1 August 1995, is a professional footballer known for his role as a striker. Born in Scotland, he currently represents the Australian national team.

Mohun Bagan have confirmed the arrival of Anirudh Thapa as a new signing for the summer, and the transfer fee involved is rumoured to be around Rs 3 crore, more than any other deal in the history of the ISL. 

The player has negotiated a five-year contract until 2028, which will see him earn Rs 3 crore per year. The midfielder will wear the number 7 jersey at the club, which was previously worn by Joni Kauko. The Finnish midfielder is injured and is likely to leave the club soon, vacating the number for Thapa.

Mohun Bagan SG have agreed the signing Sahal Samad from Kerala Blasters. The midfielder has been in remarkable form for the Indian national team, and is one of the standout players for Kerala as well. A deal worth Rs 4 crore has been completed, which will see Pritam Kotal move in the other direction.

Samas will earning a salary of Rs 3 crore upfront plus a goal bonus, which will make him among the best paid players in the squad.

He now aims to do well in the AFC Cup, where they last made it to the inter zonal semi-finals. Ferrando and his team will be assembling on July 15 to begin their preparation for the new season.

Deportivo midfielder Alberto Quiles is also on the radar of Mohun Bagan for a transfer in the coming weeks. The wide player is out of a contract at the end of the season, and has an offer for an extension. However, Mohun Bagan have entered the race to sign him on a free transfer. The Spaniard would add a whole new dimension to the club’s attack, with Manvir Singh currently the regular option on the right. 

This season in the third division of Spain, Quiles has scored 16 goals and assisted five in 34 league games. And considering his importance to the team, Deportivo will be trying hard to keep him. A transfer to India seems like a longshot but is not completely off the cards.

ATK Mohun Bagan transfer news- Tiri leaves as a free agent, Pritam Kotal to follow

After spending three years with the Mariners, veteran defender Tiri will be leaving the club as a free agent upon the expiry of his contract. Club captain Pritam Kotal is all set to make the move to Kerala Blasters. Mohun Bagan have received a significant transfer fee to sanction the sale. As a result, the club will be losing two important central defenders in the same transfer window and will need to replace them to maintain their defensive solidarity. 

Mohun Bagan have brought in Anwar Ali as one of the new central defenders for the new season from Delhi FC. The 22-year-old spent this past season on loan at Goa, playing and starting all 20 games. And now, he will be making a permanent move to one of the top clubs in the country. The deal is worth Rs 11 crores over the next four years, and the player will receive a two crore per season salary. The deal is fully in place and only an official announcement is pending for it to be official.

After the long-term injury sustained by Mohun Bagan’s Finnish midfielder Joni Kauko, the management is planning to release him. The timeline on his fitness suggests that he will not be available until December at the very least. As a result, his two-year spell with the Mariners might now be coming to an end.

On the other hand, the club’s attacking talisman, Hugo Boumous, could also be released. The player’s relationship with head coach Juan Ferrando has deteriorated since the ISL final, and the expectation is that he will be loaned to a foreign club instead of another ISL club.
