Some films open big and fade fast. Others settle in for the long haul. Mirzapur: The Movie is firmly in the second camp — and 13 days in, it’s showing exactly the kind of staying power that turns a hit into a genuine box office story.

The film, which brings Kaleen Bhaiya’s world from the small screen to the big one, just wrapped its second Wednesday with a steady hold, and the numbers are worth breaking down.

Mirzapur Box Office Collections: Day-by-Day

Here’s how the Mirzapur The Movie box office journey has unfolded so far.

A Decent Hold After Discount Day

The film collected roughly Rs. 3.75 crore nett on its second Wednesday, keeping a “decent-to-good” trend going after the usual discount-day dip. With the second week trending toward Rs. 55 crore nett, the total should comfortably cross the Rs. 200 crore nett mark by Thursday.

Current trends suggest the film should comfortably clear Rs. 225 crore nett, with trade watchers eyeing a closing total somewhere between Rs. 230-240 crore nett — a strong outcome for a web-series-to-film transition.

Why the Film Is Working

Mirzapur: The Movie follows Akhandanand “Kaleen” Tripathi, the ruthless don who rules the city through fear and power, in an interquel set during the events of the show’s first season. For fans who grew up on the series, watching that world unfold on the big screen has clearly been reason enough to show up in theatres — even into the second week.

Conclusion

With collections settling into a more predictable rhythm, the film’s trajectory now depends on weekday holds and any weekend bump from new competition. Either way, Rs. 194.75 crore in 13 days already places it among the more successful web-to-film adaptations in recent memory.
