Mirzapur Advance Booking: The Movie Kicks Off with a Bang Ahead of Release

The Bhaukaal is back — and this time, fans don’t need a screen at home to feel it. Mirzapur advance booking numbers are already turning heads just hours after tickets went live, signaling a strong theatrical debut for one of India’s most beloved crime universes.

Mirzapur Details

Early Numbers Signal a Promising Start

As of late Monday night, Mirzapur: The Movie had already crossed 11,000 tickets sold in the country’s top two multiplex chains for its opening day — a strong early indicator with three full days still left before release. Trade estimates place its opening day collection between ₹14 crore and ₹16 crore, though this could shift depending on how bookings trend over the next 72 hours.

Why This Release Matters

Mirzapur isn’t just another web series turning into a movie — it’s one of Indian streaming’s biggest cult hits taking a rare leap to the big screen. The film brings back its original ensemble, including Rasika Duggal, Shweta Tripathi, Shriya Pilgaonkar, and Abhishek Banerjee, while introducing new faces to expand its already sprawling universe.

If the film clicks with audiences and converts fan loyalty into footfalls, it could pave the way for more OTT-to-theatre crossovers — a trend the industry has been cautiously testing.

What’s Next

With the countdown to release now down to single digits, all eyes are on how advance bookings build through midweek. A strong push could see Mirzapur comfortably clear its predicted opening range.
