To the delight of Minecraft lovers, Mojang has officially revealed that the Trails and Tales update will be released on June 7. Mojang releases update to Minecraft regularly, bringing significant new features to the game. Minecraft is a game that has gone through multiple versions that have made significant changes to keep the game fresh and functioning.
Minecraft receives substantial content updates regularly, in addition to routine maintenance updates. Minecraft’s Caves and Cliffs upgrade, released in 2021, altered the overworld generation by adding new caves and mountains for players to explore. Mojang has already confirmed when the Minecraft players will be able to see the next big update, and it won’t be long.
Mojang has confirmed that the Trails and Tales update for Minecraft will be launched on June 7.
Minecraft gamers are eagerly awaiting the update, which was teased with the release of the Trails and Tales snapshot in early May. Trails and Tales will feature new mobs, one of which is the gentle giant Sniffer, who rapidly became a fan favourite. The archaeology component and accompanying pottery artefacts will also “unveil Minecraft’s past” for players.
The Trails and Tales update will also bring new features to Minecraft’s flora. Torchflower seeds and Pitcher plants, which are ancient flora that the Sniffer can find, will be included in the game. In addition, a new biome will be added to Minecraft to expand its world, bringing the beauty of cherry blossoms to the game.
With the addition of the new biome, players will be able to harvest wood from cherry blossom trees and use it to construct structures, weapons, and equipment. Minecraft will also gain new armour trimmings for the more daring players.
Minecraft is available now for PC, PS4, Switch, Xbox One, and legacy platforms.
