Microsoft has yet to reveal all of the new games that will be available on Xbox Game Pass in March 2023, but release date announcements have confirmed at least four titles will be available next month. New games are added to Xbox Game Pass on a monthly basis, with Microsoft highlighting them every two weeks or so.
Microsoft could surprise Xbox Game Pass subscribers with how it handles the March 2023 game announcements.
Since the start of the new year, new Xbox Game Pass game announcements have deviated from their usual pattern, making it increasingly difficult to predict when new games will be released for the service. With all of the new Xbox Game Pass games for February 2023 already revealed, March represents a chance for Microsoft to get back on track.
While fans await the official March 2023 reveal of Xbox Game Pass, previous release date announcements have confirmed that Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, Valheim, MLB The Show 23, and Way to the Woods will all be available on the service on day one. Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty will join the Xbox Game Pass lineup on March 3, while Valheim will arrive on March 14. MLB The Show 23 debuts on March 28, and Way to the Woods is set to debut next month as well, though no specific date has been set as of this writing.
- Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty – March 3
- Valheim – March 14
- MLB The Show 23 – March 28
- Way to the Woods – TBA
Valheim’s Xbox console debut is anticipated by fans. The game is a survival game in the style of Minecraft with a Norse mythology theme. Valheim exploded in popularity during its early access release in 2021, quickly becoming one of Steam’s most popular games. Valheim’s full release date is still unknown, but Xbox console gamers will soon be able to see what all the fuss is about with the early access version. If you have a PC Game Pass subscription and can’t wait until March 14, you can play Valheim right now.
