In this guide, we’ll confirm whether Revenge of Savage Planet is currently on Game Pass, explore why some games don’t make the cut, and recommend similar space survival adventures you can dive into today. Whether you’re hoping to play this specific title or just looking for your next interstellar journey, we’ve got you covered with the latest updates, alternative recommendations, and tips on how to access Revenge of Savage Planet if it’s not on Game Pass.

Revenge of Savage Planet – Game Overview

Revenge of Savage Planet thrusts players into the role of a stranded astronaut fighting for survival on a treacherous alien world. Developed by an indie studio known for immersive environmental storytelling, the game blends survival mechanics with RPG elements, requiring players to scavenge resources, craft weapons, and fend off deadly extraterrestrial creatures.

The planet’s dynamic ecosystem reacts to player actions—overhunting may deplete food sources, while aggressive expansion can trigger territorial alien attacks. Visually, the game stands out with its vibrant, bioluminescent flora and eerie, fog-shrouded landscapes. The narrative unfolds through environmental clues and scattered logs, rewarding exploration with deeper lore. With a mix of base-building, combat, and puzzle-solving, Revenge of Savage Planet offers a rich, replayable experience for fans of games like Subnautica and No Man’s Sky.

Is It on Xbox Game Pass?

As of the latest Game Pass update, Revenge of Savage Planet is not available on Xbox Game Pass. While Microsoft frequently adds new titles to the service, this particular game hasn’t been included in recent announcements. The absence could be due to licensing agreements, exclusivity deals with other platforms, or the developer’s decision to prioritize direct sales.

However, Game Pass subscribers shouldn’t lose hope—many games join the service months after their initial release. To stay updated, keep an eye on Xbox’s official Game Pass announcements or follow the developer’s social media for potential future additions. In the meantime, there are several similar space survival games already on Game Pass that can scratch the same itch.

Best Alternatives on Game Pass

If you’re craving a space survival fix, Xbox Game Pass offers several stellar alternatives. No Man’s Sky remains the gold standard, with its infinite procedurally generated planets, deep crafting, and multiplayer exploration. For a more narrative-driven experience, The Outer Wilds delivers a time-loop mystery set in a handcrafted solar system.

Subnautica: Below Zero provides underwater survival thrills, while Astroneer focuses on relaxed, creative planet colonization. Hardcore survivalists might prefer Breathedge, a darkly comedic take on space survival with oxygen management and wreckage scavenging. Each of these games captures elements of Revenge of Savage Planet—whether it’s alien ecosystems, base-building, or survival mechanics—making them excellent stand-ins while you wait for potential Game Pass availability.
