Microsoft is regular with its updates regarding its Surface devices. It has released fresh updates for its Surface Book 3 and Pro 7. The new updates include a list of fixes and improvements.
Surface Book 3
Surface Book 3’s updates mostly revolve around built-in cameras and to improve power-consumption while using the cameras. the new updates improve CPU performance and overall stability of the system.

Surface Pro 7
Surface Pro 7 will also receive the same camera-related updates. The remainder updates are aimed to improve pen support. They are specifically targeted towards Surface Slim Pen which is the companion to Surface Pro X.

- Surface Pen Cfu Over Ble LC Connection – Firmware: 1.18.139.0 Improves Slim Pen Inking and pairing.
- Surface Pen BLE LC Adaptation Driver – Human Interface Devices: 2.17.139.0 Improves Slim Pen Inking and pairing.
- Surface Touch Firmware – Firmware: 3.1.65.139 Improves Touch and Pen stability.
- Surface UEFI – Firmware: 8.124.140.0 Addresses issues related to the automatic brightness adjustment at low brightness.
These updates are available for users of the devices, as long as they’re running Windows 10 version 1903 or newer. It may be possible that not everyone receives updates at the same time. If they don’t show up yet, they should be available sometime soon.
