Meesho and IISc Join Forces to Revolutionize the E-Commerce Industry with Generative AI

Meesho, India’s leading e-commerce marketplace, has signed a one-year memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Vision & AI Lab (VAL) of the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) to collaborate on generative AI and multimodal LLMs. This partnership aims to help Meesho develop cutting-edge technologies that will revolutionize the e-commerce industry.

Under the MoU, Meesho’s data scientists will have the opportunity to collaborate with leading lab researchers from IISc. Together, they will focus on multimodal representation learning and generative AI capabilities, with the aim of developing solutions that enhance the e-commerce experience for Meesho users. The research efforts could also result in the publication of exceptional research papers at reputable international conferences.
