Remember the young Carol Danvers from Captain Marvel? She might be swinging back into Marvel’s orbit, and this time the rumored role is a major one.
Fresh chatter suggests the MCU isn’t done with McKenna Grace. Here’s a quick breakdown, plus more Marvel buzz over at TechnoSports.
What’s the Rumor on McKenna Grace?
According to insider MyTimeToShineHello, Marvel Studios is considering McKenna Grace for a new major role in the cinematic universe. The catch is that the source didn’t say which character or which project. That leaves plenty of room for guessing.
McKenna Grace: Overview
| Detail | What We Know |
|---|---|
| Source | Insider MyTimeToShineHello, as reported by GeekTyrant |
| Actress | McKenna Grace |
| Rumored role | “Major,” but the character is undisclosed |
| Project | Not named |
| Past MCU role | Young Carol Danvers in Captain Marvel (2019) |
| Return as Carol? | Unlikely, since Brie Larson plays the adult version |
| Official confirmation | None yet |
Why MCU Fans Are Paying Attention?
Grace is no stranger to Marvel. In 2019’s Captain Marvel, she played Carol Danvers in flashback scenes. It was a small part, but a memorable one, and it means she already has a foothold in the franchise.
A return as young Carol looks unlikely because Larson continues to play the adult hero. So if the rumor is true, this would be a fresh character, which is what makes it interesting.
Marvel Has Plenty on Its Plate
Marvel is busy right now. Projects in the works include reboots of X-Men and Ghost Rider, plus Black Panther 3, among other films. The main casts for those three are already known, but many supporting roles are still at the rumor stage.
That doesn’t tell us where Grace might land, and it would be a mistake to link her to any one of them. Still, with this many productions moving, there’s no shortage of places for a major new role to appear.
Should You Believe It?
Treat it as a rumor for now. The insider gave no character, no project and no timeline, and Marvel hasn’t commented. It’s fun to speculate, but nothing here is confirmed.
