The internet is having a moment. Two of Europe’s most glamorous public figures — Kylian Mbappé and Spanish actress Ester Expósito — have reportedly been spotted together in Paris, and the rumor mill is spinning at full speed. So what actually happened, and who exactly is Ester Expósito?

What Sparked the Rumors?

It all started with French blogger Aqababe, who is known for breaking celebrity romance stories, claiming to have exclusive evidence of the pair dating. According to the blogger, the two first crossed paths in Madrid on February 25, and then reportedly met again days later in Paris — two different cities, making it hard to brush off as coincidence.

The blogger went further, writing on X that multiple witnesses spotted Mbappé and Expósito together at the Pullman bar in Paris. The post quickly racked up over 10 million views, sending fans of both into a frenzy.

Meanwhile, Expósito posted Instagram stories from iconic Paris spots including the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre, and was seen dining with a mystery guest. Mbappé was also in Paris at the time, reportedly visiting medical specialists for a right knee issue. Add to that the fact that both follow each other on Instagram — and that Mbappé liked one of Expósito’s posts back in December — and you’ve got all the ingredients for a viral romance story.

Neither party has confirmed or denied anything. For now, it’s all deliciously unconfirmed.
