Barely two months after lighting up theaters, “Masters of the Universe” has made its jump to streaming, and it’s landing exactly where most fans hoped. Nicholas Galitzine’s take on He-Man is now just a subscription away.

Where to Stream It

The live-action reboot of Mattel’s iconic franchise arrived on Prime Video on July 22, 2026, following its June 5 theatrical debut. The quick turnaround suggests the studio wanted to capitalize on the film’s positive reception, giving it a second wave of visibility right when box office runs typically start slowing down. Best of all, it’s included with any standard Prime Video subscription — no extra rental fee required.

What “Masters of the Universe” Is About

Directed by Travis Knight, known for “Bumblebee” and “Kubo and the Two Strings,” this reboot reimagines the beloved 1980s toy franchise for a new generation. The story follows Prince Adam (Nicholas Galitzine), who’s spent 15 years living quietly on Earth, cut off from his home planet. When the legendary Sword of Power resurfaces, Adam is pulled back to Eternia, only to find it conquered and devastated by the villainous Skeletor. To save his family and the universe, he must finally step into his destiny as He-Man.
