In the vibrant universe of Marvel Rivals, fashion meets heroism in the most unexpected way. Season 2 is set to introduce a collection of swimsuit-inspired skins that pay homage to the iconic Marvel Swimsuit Special comic series, bringing a playful twist to some of Marvel’s most beloved characters. This isn’t just a costume update – it’s a celebration of superhero style that bridges the gap between comics and gaming.

The Story Behind the Skins

At the heart of this collection is Janet Van Dyne (The Wasp), who takes center stage as a fashion designer orchestrating a superhero swimsuit photoshoot. The upcoming comic, Marvel Swimsuit Special: Friends, Foes & Rivals #1, set to release on July 9, 2025, promises a lighthearted celebration of Marvel’s characters. It’s a delightful blend of humor, stunning artwork, and pure superhero fun.

More Than Just a Costume Update

This isn’t Marvel Rivals’ first foray into unique collaborations. Previously, players could unlock a free The Thing skin by signing up for a Marvel Unlimited subscription. The swimsuit special continues this tradition of bringing comic book creativity directly into the gaming experience.
