Maruti Suzuki announced the new S-Presso Xtra edition on its social media accounts. The special edition gives the hatchback a more rugged appearance and new accessories. The price of the Maruti Suzuki S-Presso Xtra Edition has not been announced.

The price may be revealed in the coming months when the vehicle is released by the company. The Maruti Suzuki S-Presso Xtra Edition is likely to be introduced at the upcoming Auto Expo 2023 in January.

The Maruti Suzuki S-Presso Xtra adds a front skid plate, door cladding, and wheel arch cladding to the standard model. The interior has been updated with red inserts on the dashboard and door panels. The limited edition comes with new seat upholstery and floor mats.

Mechanically, the vehicle is powered by the same 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol engine as the standard variant. It is claimed to have a maximum power output of 66 bhp and a peak torque of 89 Nm. The engine is paired with either a 5-speed manual transmission or an AMT.

Maruti Suzuki launched the S-Presso S-CNG earlier this year, with a starting price of 5.90 lacks (ex-showroom).

The vehicle is powered by a 1.0-litre K-series engine that can produce up to 56 bhp. Maruti Suzuki S-Presso CNG is available in two variants: LXi and VXi. It costs $95,000 more than the equivalent petrol variants. Maruti Suzuki claims that the S-Presso has sold 2.26 lakh units since its introduction.

The new model includes dual-interdependent electronic control units (ECUs), an intelligent fuel injection system, stainless steel pipes and joints, and integrated wiring harnesses for the CNG system. The Maruti Suzuki S-Presso S-CNG vehicle has a micro switch that ensures the engine is turned off and does not start while the CNG fuel is being filled.
