Aishwarya Lekshmi and Vishnu Vishal are coming with a new family drama film ‘Gatta Kusthi’ on Netflix India’. Vishnu Vishal has made many interesting choices both as an actor as well a producer. After giving two such back-to-back thrillers coming with a lighthearted rural entertainer Gatta Kusthi. It has been packed with some proper messages based on modern-day marriages revealing the need for women’s empowerment.
The movie has qualified among the most entertaining family dramas belonging to Tamil cinema in recent years. This is really very unpredictable about the dominating husband who conquers his wife following a transformation. The movie holds refreshing provides a comical treatment and lets Aishwarya Lekshmi steal most of the limelight. Vishnu plays the second fiddle to Aishwarya for the most part of the film.
Aishwarya or Keerthi is playing a local wrestling champion as her parents are standing by her ambition and want to get her married soon. Veera, on the other hand, lives off his ancestral inheritance and wishes to be married to a girl who had been e a good homemaker and doesn’t boss around. The fact is he looking for a wife and has low expectations. After his marriage without knowing the actual truth, as time goes things getting unfold between them, and their marriage takes the form of the crux of the story.
This is the kind of film that simply that happens while you don’t take things seriously, and that’s the only way to enjoy the film’s intent to the fullest. The film strongly encourages rules laid down by patriarchy for women, but it takes an interesting detour by talking about women’s empowerment in the second half. The film shares an interesting core idea about the modern-day expectations between married couples and how men evade basic responsibilities in a household.
Vishnu Vishal is playing the role of hero, this movie is actually belonging to Aishwarya Lekshmi, who’s effortless in a role that gives her so much scope to showcase her full acting potential. She has held many actions sequence which is nothing short of one of the best whistle-worthy moments of the film. Karunas gets a solid comic character after a long time and he’s brilliant in some of the key scenes of the movie. The film already got a huge response from the audience.
