Mahindra had trademarked 9 new names of vehicles ahead of yesterday’s announcement

Mahindra and Mahindra have registered a trademark for nearly eight names, all of them have the XUV tag and are followed by e1, e2, e3, e5, e7, e8, and e9. The automaker will be unveiling five new electric vehicle concepts tomorrow and this trademark could be related to those.

Few names of the Mahindra trademarks:

The latest teaser revealed by the automaker suggests that we will see four coupe-type SUVs and a full-sized SUV concept that will launch under the ‘Born Electric Vision’ sub-brand. All the models are conceptualized and developed at the brand’s Advanced Design Division in Europe in the UK. The EV range is also likely to score high on new technology.

The teaser suggested that we will get a dual-screen setup with customizable display screens for the instrument cluster. The EVs will all feature dual-zone climate control, ambient lighting for enhanced aesthetics, powered front seats, and smartphone connectivity as well.

Mahindra is expected to introduce an EV version of the XUV300 compact SUV in September this year. The eXUV400 will be the electric SUV in H1 of 2023. Apart from this, Mahindra has unveiled the Scorpio Classic which will be a counterpart alongside the Scorpio-N, the cost of the Classic version will surface on the 20th of August. The Classic iteration has a lot of upgrades, it comes with new features and a tweaked diesel powertrain with a manual gearbox.
