Due to border issues, over the past few weeks, the anti-China wave is reached the highest pick. Almost every Indians are standing with the boycott Chinese product campaign. Not only products, the apps too. In fact, Indian intel agencies already warned all of us about 50 Chinese apps.
In this situation, two Noida-based developers Mohit Jain and Akshay Tank developed an app called “Made in India” to figure out where the product in your hand is manufactured. It will surely help the common people. The app basically takes input from the barcode of a product and displays the flag of the country where that was manufactured.
“You can search and know the details of the products manufactured in 115+ countries. This free application provides an opportunity for those who wish to support and promote local products,” – Made in India.
The Made in India app comes to the Google Play Store on 12th June under the ‘Tools’ category. It is owned by The91Apps. Currently, it has 121 downloads and owns a 4.7 rating.
To know where a product is manufactured, you just need to scan the barcode or manually put the code to the app. Instantly, it will display the origin of that product. Lastly, it supports both the languages Hindi and English.
