Loveyapa Box Office Collection Till Now: Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor’s much-awaited film Loveyapa hit the big screens this Friday, and fans were excited to see this fresh pairing on screen. Directed by Advait Chandan, the film is a Hindi remake of the Tamil blockbuster Love Today. While the film had a slow start, it has managed to hold steady at the box office on its second day.

Loveyapa Box Office Collection Till Now

Loveyapa had a decent opening with a collection of ₹1.15 crore net and ₹1.35 crore gross in India. On its second day, the film managed to collect ₹1.16 crore net, bringing its total to ₹2.31 crore net so far. Though the numbers are not massive, the film is maintaining a steady pace.

One of the surprising factors in the box office battle is the competition from Himesh Reshammiya’s Badass Ravikumar. The action-packed film made ₹2.75 crore net on its first day and added ₹1.99 crore net on the second day, bringing its total to ₹4.74 crore net. Despite this competition, Loveyapa is finding its audience and showing potential for growth over the weekend.

Audience Reception and Theater Occupancy

The film is getting a mixed response from audiences, but the performances of Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor are being appreciated. On the second day, Loveyapa saw 6.09% occupancy in the morning shows and 14.09% in the afternoon, indicating that more viewers are showing interest as the weekend progresses.

With Valentine’s Week approaching, the romantic drama has a chance to attract more couples and young audiences in the coming days.

Aamir Khan’s Support for Junaid Khan’s Big-Screen Debut

Aamir Khan has been actively promoting Loveyapa, as it marks his son Junaid Khan’s Bollywood debut. Talking about the film in an interview with ANI, Aamir shared his excitement and admiration for the performances. He said,

“I have watched the rough cut. I liked this film. It is very entertaining. The way our lives have turned out these days due to cellphones, and the interesting things that happen in our life due to this have been shown here. All the actors have done a good job.”

He also compared Khushi Kapoor’s performance to that of her late mother, legendary actress Sridevi.

“When I watched the film and saw Khushi (Kapoor), I felt that I was watching Sridevi. Her energy was there, I could see. I am a huge fan of Sridevi.”

The event was attended by some of Bollywood’s biggest stars, including Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Juhi Chawla, Rekha, and Dharmendra.

Junaid’s sister, Ira Khan, also shared her thoughts on the film. Posting on social media, she expressed her excitement about seeing her brother on the big screen.

“Junnu on the big screen!! 🥳😍 If you knew Junaid personally, you’d realize just how good of an actor he is playing this role! The whole cast has done a great job.”
