Love on the Menu, KBS2’s Saturday-Sunday drama starring Ha Seok Jin and Hani, has released new stills ahead of its next episode, and the fallout from broken relationships is spreading across nearly every character. The series follows Kim Moo Jin and Han Gyu Rim, former lovers who reunite eight years after a painful breakup, slowly working to mend their fractured families around a shared table.

What’s Happening In The New Stills

Kim Moo Jin previously brought Jang Seo Hyun back home after she left, driven out by Go Yoon Hee’s disapproval of their relationship. Now he’s shown visiting Go Yoon Hee’s house himself, trying to win her over with sincerity — but she stays cold to his efforts.

Meanwhile, Han Gyu Rim is dealing with her own family resistance. After rejecting Jo Heung Sik’s proposal, she’s left facing Park Soo Nam’s anger and disapproval, yet she remains persistent even as Park Soo Nam’s demands leave her visibly shaken.

Love On The Menu: Character Connections

Character	Actor	Conflict
Kim Moo Jin	Ha Seok Jin	Trying to win over Go Yoon Hee
Han Gyu Rim	Hani	Facing Park Soo Nam’s disapproval
Go Yoon Hee	Yoon Yoo Sun	Opposes Jang Seo Hyun’s relationship
Han Gyu Seo	Park Soo Oh	Unknowingly helps Go Yoon Hee

The most intriguing thread, though, involves a meeting nobody sees coming: Go Yoon Hee and Han Gyu Rim’s half-brother, Han Gyu Seo, cross paths when Go Yoon Hee finds herself in a tough spot. Han Gyu Seo steps in to help her, connecting the two before either realizes who the other actually is. Given how tightly wound this drama’s family ties already are, that unknowing introduction feels like it’s setting up something bigger down the line.

The next episode of Love on the Menu airs August 30 at 8 p.m. KST.
