Love Insurance Kompany OTT Release — Key Details

What’s the Film About?

Set in the year 2040, Love Insurance Kompany follows Vasu — nicknamed “Vibe Vassey” — who hails from a technology-free village called Pasume Ulagam. While working as the voice of an advanced romance-finder app, he becomes part of a system where love is determined through algorithms rather than genuine emotion. YouTube

It’s a premise that feels almost uncomfortably relevant given how dating apps rule modern relationships. The central conflict? Vasu falls in love with Dheema, even though the app predicts their relationship won’t work — and the company decides to intervene and end things when their bond threatens the system. Whether love or logic wins forms the heart of the film. YouTube

Cast & Crew Snapshot

The film stars Pradeep Ranganathan and Krithi Shetty in the lead roles, supported by SJ Suryah, Yogi Babu, Seeman, Gouri G Kishan, and others. It is written and directed by Vignesh Shivan, with music by Anirudh Ravichander, produced by Nayanthara and SS Lalit Kumar under Rowdy Pictures and Seven Screen Studio. YouTube

That’s a seriously stacked creative team — and Anirudh’s music alone is enough reason to give this one a listen.

🕰️ A Long Journey to the Screen

The project was initially planned in 2019 with Sivakarthikeyan in the lead, then shelved due to budget constraints. It was later revived in 2023 with Pradeep Ranganathan and experienced multiple postponements before finally hitting theatres. The film received mixed reviews and underperformed at the box office — which makes the OTT premiere a second chance at finding the right audience. YouTube
