Released in October 2023, Lords of the Fallen quickly garnered a loyal following for its challenging combat, immersive world-building, and strong resemblance to the popular Dark Souls series.

Master of Fate: The Final Update.

Interestingly, the executive producer of Hexworks, Saul Gascon, had just been interviewed on Xbox’s official web site last week about a recent update named “The Master of Fate.” This massive update is the culmination of more than 30 updates that have been released since the start of the game, indicating that the developers are committed to continuously improving the game.

“This week, Version 1.5 of Master of Fate has reached the biggest milestone since its launch,” Gascon wrote on Xbox Wire. This is the culmination of more than 30 updates released since launch that have introduced new content and quality of life updates, including a rigorous balancing between difficulty levels, which has significantly improved performance, stability or optimization in every respect.”

This dedication to perfection would indicate that if the rumors are correct, players will be able to experience Lords of the Fallen in a more polished and optimized state when they play it on Xbox Game Pass.
